A NEW HOUSE

Every new year is like beginning work on a new house. You start with the foundation.
The frame will come next. Wood or steal will be the frame. Once that’s done, the wiring and electrical stuff is added. Concrete covers everything. Once the floor, window, and doors are put in place, you can add to it with carpet, or whatever you plan.
Then plumbers and electricians move in and install the main ingredients . After that the painters show up to give your new structure a fresh coat. When the paint settles, and house ungergoes a series if inspections, you’re ready to move in.
Now the fun begins. The furniture, lamps and electronics come next. Where thing are put in place and put where everyone is happy with the place, you’re ready.
Any pictures, paintings, ornaments and lighting follow. Other things will come as the house takes shape. It is now a house and in time will bwcome a home. I’ve never build s house before, but imagine it take about six months to a year to go from house to a home. Getting used to your new nweighbors will present its own challenges. Pets will add something that will make it feek more like home. A new year is like a new beginning where the foundation is built upon…any every now and then, you take stock of the project and see where chsnges need to be made, but it all starts with the turning of the sod.
